USJ Macau - University of Saint Joseph

The University of Saint Joseph offers a wide range of academic programs at the Pre-University, undergraduate and post-graduate level, as well as non-degree programs, offered through its Lifelong Learning Office.The government of Macau accredits all our programs, and our graduates have been able to pursue careers and further studies with prestigious local and international institutions, thus endowing us with a high level of recognition and credibility.

Pre-University

The Pre-University program of studies is intended to act as a bridge between secondary education and undergraduate studies, thus enabling students to meet the admission’s requirements to undergraduate programs at USJ and other universities that use English as the medium of instruction. It also prepares students for the self-propelling, autonomous and group-based, and interactive forms of study that are characteristic of many university programs.

An inter-disciplinary program, providing professional, academic guidance, and on site field work in the different Macau religious heritage spots, as well as in historical archives, libraries and museums.

Students complete main modules in research methods and foundation knowledge in their proposed research field, and then work under a supervisor to complete their doctoral thesis.
